MBABANE:Banele Nyamane, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Eswatini Sugar has confirmed the signing of the Cost of Living Adjustment(COLA) with the Swaziland Agricultural Plantations Workers Union(SAPWU).
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Saturday morning, the CEO said the agreement was signed on Thursday after negotiations with the trade union adding that, the Eswatini Sugar workers will also receive a back-pay..
“We can confirm the signing of the agreement with the trade union representing the workers.The workers will receive a back-pay as the agreement was supposed to be signed on the 1st April 2025 but, the union has been delaying to come to the negotiation table,” said the CEO.
