Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo advises editor Zweli Martin Dlamini to come back home, says “wena ucoca nabo onkhe malanga labakaNgwane buka nyalo sebakutjelile kutsi contract yami bayayi-renewa mine ngingati nekwati”.

MBABANE:Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo says editor Zweli Martin Dlamini must consider coming back home because it is clear that, he has a special relationship with BakaNgwane who provide information to him and update him regarding the country’s affairs.

The Government Spokesperson was speaking to the editor on Wednesday morning after being asked if he was aware that, his contract might be renewed, that was before the Civil Service Commission(CSC) released a statement confirming the renewal of his contract of employment.

“Sewuyitfolaphi wena, kodvwa ngibutani vele ngoba wena ukhuluma nabo onkhe malanga laBakaNgwane, loku sebakutjelile kusho kutsi ingiyo. You must consider coming back home, after all this is your and you are related to the royal family”, said the Government Spokesperson.

When the editor told Nxumalo that he was originally from LaMgabhi eTiyeni, the Government Spokesperson said;

“There’s only one Royal Tree in this country, sinye lesihlahla yeMlangeni, buka nyalo wena utjela mine kutsi contract yami bayayi-renewa, kadze bakutjelile”, he said.

On another note, Civil Service Commission(CSC) Chairman Simanga Mamba released a statement later on Wednesday afternoon, confirming the renewal of the contract however, he said Nxumalo has been placed on special leave pending his court case.

Nxumalo made a surprise come back to power, sources within royalty told this publication that, BakaNgwane were happy with the Government’s energy in defending the State but, they didn’t want to interfere with the criminal justice system by blocking his arrest.

The Government Spokesperson will resume his duties should he be acquitted of the rape charges, he is now entitled to full salary in terms of the renewed contract.
