MBABANE:Neal Rijikernberg, the Minister of Finance has emphasized the urgent need to maintain roads in the rural areas.

Speaking on his Finance-in-Focus online program on Thursday, the Minister said toll fees have been adjusted to fund the maintenance of roads hence the establishment of the Roads Agency Fund.

The Finance Minister said, the country has been struggling to consistently have a budget for the maintenance of roads hence the decision to increase toll fees.
