MBABANE:Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo, the Spokesperson of the Umbutfo Eswatini Defense Force(UEDF) has confirmed that Army Commander Moses Mashikilisane Fakudze has sidelined her and ordered General Sotja Dlamini to speak for the military amid Army recruitment.
Responding to this Swaziland News on Tuesday, Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo said all questions regarding the ongoing recruitment must therefore, be directed to General Sotja Dlamini.
“Your questionnaire is highly appreciated Mlangeni. The Office of the Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force Commander assigned Brigadier General Sotja Dlamini to respond to any concerns regarding the recruitment exercise. So for any lnformation required concerning the on going recruitment exercise, kindly touch base with the General appointed,” she said.
But journalists are reportedly being sent from pillar to post when seeking clarity on issues as sometimes, General Sotja Dlamini would refer comments to Spokesperson Tengetile Khumalo.
The Army Commander has been at loggerheads with all senior officers who were working with former Army Commander Jeffery Shabalala.
