SIMUNYE:Mzwandile Dlamini, a resident of Simunye and two of his friends including ‘Kara Kara’ Tsabedze, have died after being abducted by King Mswati’s mercenaries Bastion Security.
The mercenary security company allegedly linked to Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg and rose to fame during the political unrest killings, was contracted by the eSwatini Government to patrol the streets at night but, the Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation(REScorp) also utilized it’s security services.
It has been disclosed that, Mzwandile Dlamini who had just received his “Lidlelatfongeni” and was entertaining himself and his friends with alcohol at Social Centre, was grabbed by the Bastion Security guards together with his friends and, subsequently handed over to cops at the nearby Simunye Police Station on Monday evening merely for walking in the streets at night while allegedly drunk.
But the police released them and along the way back to their houses, two(2) of them were killed by a speeding car while another one reportedly died at the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial(RFM) Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News, Ishmond Fakudze, the Spokesperson of the Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation confirmed the accident but referred comments to the police.
“We can confirm the accident that happened on Monday evening, two(2) died on the spot. But the rightful institution better positioned to comment is the Police Service”, said the REScorp Spokesperson when confirming to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.
Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson, declined to comment about the death of the three(3) citizens.
It has been disclosed that, despite the fact that the three(3) were allegedly drunk, the police released them at night thus exposing them to danger as they were walking on the road.
