KWALUSENI:The University of Eswatini(UNESWA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with One Billion Rising, a women’s rights advocacy organization.
The agreement signed on Tuesday at UNESWA-Kwaluseni, will result to the institution of higher learning collaborating with One Billion Rising in hosting the 2026 GBV Awareness Festival in an effort to end Gender Based Violence.
UNESWA Vice Chancellor Professor Justice Tfwala said the collaboration will assist the University in creating awareness about GBV.
One Billion Rising Coordinator Colani Hlatjwako applauded the University for partnering with the women’s rights organization and demonstrating commitment to fight Gender Based Violence.
