MBABANE:Manzi Zwane, the Nhlambeni Member of Parliament(MP) has confirmed that together with traditional leaders, they will meet Army Commander Moses Mashikilisane Fakudze to discuss possible ways of conducting the recruitment again as a compensating for the youth of the area whose ambitions of joining the army was undermined by alleged corruption.
This comes after this Swaziland News reported earlier on Wednesday that, Mhlelisi Gama allegedly participated at Mkhiweni Inkhundla before proceeding to Nhlambeni where he won.
But allegations are rife suggesting that, some hopefuls who bribed Army authorities have been planted to participate in the recruitment and they will be recruited within the various Tinkhundla Centres.
“I can confirm that, together with traditional leaders, we will meet the Army Commander to discuss the alleged corruption”, said the MP.
Army Spokesperson Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo referred comments to General Sotja Dlamini.
The ongoing Army recruitment has been marred by allegations of corruption in that, some hopefuls who allegedly paid bribes were planted strategically and, they will be recruited within the various Tinkhundla Centres.
