MBABANE: Bheki Mamba, the President of the Swaziland Democratic Nurses Union(SWADNU) said the Nation must expect a worse COVID-19 third wave as a result of government's failure to provide working equipment and drugs in the various hospitals.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Monday, the nurses President said Government must prepare an adequate budget to strengthen the health system.
“Government must provide working equipment and drugs to make sure the health system is ready for the third wave. If government fails to provide an adequate budget to strengthen the health system, then the third wave will be severe” he said.
On another note, Health Minister Lizzie Nkosi urged Swazis to accept the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines that were donated by the government of India, the vaccination process is expected to start very soon, however, Government is still struggling to procure enough vaccines for the entire population.
