MANZINI:Bongani Nzima, the Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth has urged companies to partner with the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture(ENCAC) in producing documentaries production and other creative projects.
The Minister was speaking when officially opening the R1million Arts and Culture Recording Studio in Manzini funded by Government through the ENCAC.
“It is pleasing to note that our very first recordings here have already begun, with disability artists preparing for the inaugural Disability Festival. This centre is now a true home for the creative sector. It is equipped with digital music technology and will serve a wide range of purposes, from music production to documentaries and art development programmes. We remain open to partnerships with broadcasters, parastatals, and the private sector to maximise its impact, particularly for our youth,” said the Minister as quoted by Government online platforms.
It has been reported that, the event was graced by Members of the Ministry’s Parliament Portfolio Committees and other Parliamentarians.
