MBABANE:State owned radio journalist Linda Jele who stands accused of assaulting his girlfriend says, he is not a violent person and will share his side of the story in due course.
The journalist sent a message to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on Thursday evening thanking Dlamini for making an effort to contact and afford him an opportunity to respond and clarify the allegations before publication the story.
“I thank you for being a journalist, at least you know that a person must be given the right to respond on allegations leveled against him, I will share my side of the story in due course and you will be the first one to receive the statement. I have great respect for you as a colleague and I respect journalism as a career and my employer. I am not a violent person,” said the State owned radio journalist.
Jele worked for the Times before moving to the State owned Radio Station, he was based at the High Court.
