MBABANE:Kwazi Sihlongonyane, the Big Bend Branch Secretary General of the Swaziland Agricultural Plantations Workers Union(SAPWU) who survived after Rangers contracted by the Management tried to shoot and kill him, has opened a criminal case at Big Bend Police Station.
It has been disclosed that the Rangers who were with Manager Lucky Ngwenya wanted to shoot and kill the trade union leader this week and then pretend as if it was a mistake.
Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson, declined to comment about the matter.
On another note, Crooks Plantations workers are highly expected to engage in a strike action in demand for a salary increment and better working conditions.
