MBABANE:Bishop Bongani Masuku of the Rock of Life Tabernacle church is now forcing members to sign forms declaring that, their offerings used to build the church was a donation.
Members who refused to sign the form were expelled as the Bishop intensifies moves to sell the church for R8million negotiable fee.
Even though Masuku denied plotting to sell the church situated at Fonteyn-Mbabane when asked by this Swaziland News, evidence has emerged suggesting that members who questioned the selling of the church were told to sign membership forms with strict rules.
An elderly woman allegedly gave the Bishop her entire pension during the building of the church and might not be refunded after being told to sign as well or leave the church.
Eswatini is facing growing religious exploitation, the country has about 70% of the population living in poverty and some use religion to defraud others by establishing churches.
