NGCULWINI:Nokukhanya Motsa-Simelane left her husband Mbongeni Enerst Simelane on Saturday and went on to marry Lucky Tshepo Dlamini at Ngculwini on Saturday morning.
The husband filed an urgent application on Friday after receiving information suggesting that, his wife will marry the police officer the following morning but, the cop avoided a Court Messenger who was sent to deliver the interim court order.
When the Sheriff arrived at the Police College on Saturday morning, the cop was informed by other police officers that, “the Court Messenger is within the premises with a court order” but, he claimed to be in Pigg’s Peak when in fact he was at Ngculwini early in the morning inserting a ring on Mbongeni Simelane’s wife.
The Court Messenger rushed to Ngculwini only to find people enjoying delicious food after the conclusion of the wedding.
Mafutseni police officers who were accompanying the Court Messenger when rushing to Ngculwini to stop the wedding were upon arrival, served with delicious food as the wedding was over and the court order “had been overtaken by events”.
