LOBAMBA:Sicelo ‘KhungaNkhosi’ Dlamini, the Mayiwane Member of Parliament(MP) came hard on Eswatini Water Services Corporation(EWSC), accusing the State owned company of ‘stealing’ money from the pockets of emaSwati.
Speaking in Parliament this week, the young and vocal MP accused Water Services of approaching Parliament for the allocation of money while “providing expensive water that cannot be afforded by ordinary” and poor emaSwati.
“What is so special about this company?. Even if we can approve the money so that they can supply water to Lavumisa, the people won’t afford because water is expensive. What’s the significance of supplying water to people knowing very well that they won’t afford because you are providing an expensive service?”, said the MP.
The Mayiwane MP urged the company to ensure that, emaSwati enjoy access to clean and affordable water.
