LOBAMBA:King Mswati says pro-democracy activists who overthrew legitimate Governments must not be recognized by the African Union(AU) or the United Nations(UN).

Addressing journalists during a press conference held at Ludzidzini Palace this week upon his return from the UN General Assembly, the King maintained that, those who use guns to overthrow legitimate Governments must not be recognized by the international community adding that, there’s nothing like a popular coup.

“This issue was debated there and I still maintain that, those who use guns to overthrow legitimate Governments must not be recognized. Others normally say it’s acceptable if the person who overthrew the Government was wanted by the people describing that as a popular coup, there’s nothing like a popular coup”, he said.
