MBABANE:Industrial Court Judge Lungile Msimango has jailed Sipho Mhlanga, the Registrar of the Southern African Nazarene University(SANU) for defying her order directing the institution of higher learning to allow Lecturers to elect their own Deans of the Faculty of Education and Health Sciences without interference from the Management.
The Registrar was grabbed by the police within the University premises on Tuesday morning, Vice Chancellor Faith Mlotsa-Mngomezulu is wanted by the police and reportedly out of the country. She might be arrested upon arrival at the Airport after lawyer Xolile Mnisi from MLK Ndlangamandla Attorneys who was representing the National Workers Union in Swaziland Higher Institutions(NAWUSHI), successfully moved an application seeking to arrest the Vice Chancellor and the Registrar for thirty(30) days for contempt of court.
