MBABANE:Derrick Shiba, the former Inyatsi Construction Managing Director is highly expected to be announced by Labour and Social Security Minister Phila Buthelezi as the new Board Chairman of the Eswatini National Provident Fund(ENPF).
A secret document sourced from Buthelezi’s Office suggests that, the Labour Minister was supposed to call a press conference and announce a new Board led by Shiba on Wednesday morning.
Highly classified intelligence information suggest that, on Monday evening, the Labour Minister was plotting with Shiba to immediately work towards removing ENPF Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Futhie Tembe shortly after being announced, the motive remain unknown.
But a Cabinet source told this journalist that, a syndicate is being assembled to loot millions within the Eswatini National Provident Fund and the CEO has been identified as a huge obstacle hence the plot to remove her from Office.
Efforts to reach the Labour Minister and Social Security Minister for a comment proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report as his cellphone rang unanswered.
