MBABANE:Mbongwa Dlamini, the President of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT) says the Secretary General of the Trade Union Congress of Swaziland(TUCOSWA) Mduduzi Gina is acting like a “suicide bomber” by suing SNAT Secretary General Lot Vilakati five hundred thousand Rands(R500,000.00).
“He knows that he won’t be re-elected in the upcoming TUCOSWA elections so he wants to destabilize the federation. In fact what he is doing is like suicide bombing, he is acting like a suicide bomber who wants to die with the federation and we won’t allow him to do that”, said the SNAT President.
Gina is suing SNAT Secretary General Lot Vilakati for alleged defamation in that, he accused him of unleashing the police to disperse a meeting for Public Sector Unions(PSUs).
“Lot Vilakati is not SNAT, the video was published by the SNAT Platform and the Secretary General wouldn’t have deleted it because SNAT is not Lot Vilakati but, a union for teachers. Gina’s case is very weak because he was supposed to sue SNAT as well as the video was published by SNAT and his name is not mentioned in the video. We view this as a strategic plot by the Tinkhundla regime to destabilize the federation and we will protect TUCOSWA from a ‘suicide bomber’ who wants to die with the federation”, he said.
