KWALUSENI:Ms.Nessie Golakai-Gould, the United Nations Development Program(UNDP) Deputy Resident Representative says Artificial Intelligence(AI) is not just a technological leap but, a societal shift and therefore, no one must be left behind.
The UNDP Deputy Resident Representative was speaking on Friday during the Kwaluseni University of Eswatini(UNESWA) Student Career and AI Induction Event.
“Artificial Intelligence is not just a technological leap-it’s a societal shift. AI must be inclusive and free from bias to ensure no one is left behind”, she said as quoted by UNDP’s online platforms.
On another note, UNESWA Vice Chancellor Professor Justice Tfwala praised the partnership that enables University students to understand human stories behind data.
“Through our collaboration with UNDP, we are turning ideas into impact and helping students understand the human stories behind data,” he said.
