“You will receive your salary increment next month”, National Commissioner of Police Vusi Manoma Masango tells cops.

MBABANE:A document sourced from the Office of the National Commissioner of Police Vusi Manoma Masango, to be sent to various Police Stations suggests that, cops will receive their salary increment next month.

The document was drafted on Thursday afternoon after this Swaziland News published a story suggesting that, soldiers, police officers and Correctional Services officers will not receive a salary increment this month, the document clarifies the delay.

“Addresses are hereby informed that the Prime Minister’s Office has since written to the National Commissioner advising on the latest developments regarding implementation of the 2025 Salary Review for the three(3) Security Forces. This position was also communicated by the Consultant in a meeting with the Royal Eswatini Police Service Salary Review Task Team held at the Police Headquarters Conference Room earlier today, Thursday 23rd October 2025. The communication from the Prime Minister’s Office is to effect that, implementation for the Salary Review for the three(3) Security Forces shall be made in November 2025 pending finalization of the Review Report intended for the Security cluster,” reads the memo in part.

Efforts to reach Police Spokesperson Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

On another note, civil servants are highly expected to receive their salary increment next week.
