MBABANE:Mzwakhe Myeni, the President of the Association Christian Artists of Eswatini(ACAESWA) has won the first round of a court battle against the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture(ENCAC).
Myeni took Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Stantly Dlamini and the Council of Arts and Culture to court after the CEO dissolved ACAESWA and established a new Association, the CEO went on to ban the Gospel Awards and directed that the Awards be organised by the new Association he established.
The court granted an order in Myeni’s favour, interdicting the Arts and Culture CEO from hosting the Gospel Awards and banning ACAESWA.
