MBEKELWENI:Ludzidzini Acting Governor Themba Ginindza who doubles as Mbekelweni Indvuna has approached the Office of the Attorney General(AG), he wants to take Inkhosikati LaKhumalo to court amid power struggle.

The Acting Governor who disappeared at Mbekelweni last year, accuses Inkhosikati of refusing to hand over uMphakatsi’s stamp to him, Inkhosikati LaKhumalo is Prince Phuzigazi’s wife.

It has been disclosed that,Inkhosikati decided to grab the stamp after Indvuna Themba Ginindza dumped uMphakatsi to reside at Ezulwini with his wife and as a result, residents of Mbekelweni would travel to Ezulwini just for the stamp and further be forced by Ginindza to pay two hundred Rands(R200.00). 

But Inkhosikati LaKhumalo stopped Ginindza from demanding money from the residents saying uMphakatsi’s stamp must be free and accessible at Mbekelweni uMphakatsi not Ezulwini.

Reached for comments by this Swaziland News Inkhosikati LaKhumalo confirmed the tension but declined to comment further, she referred comments to the Inner Council.

“Please contact Bandlancane regarding this matter,” she said.

Indvuna Themba Ginindza was not immediately available for a comment, the Office of the AG is highly expected to decide whether to take-up the matter or not after being approached by Ginindza.

But sources within Mbekelweni uMphakatsi told this publication that, Indvuna Themba Ginindza might be summoned by BantfwabeNkhosi be-Mbekelweni and be charged amid attempts to take Inkhosikati to court.

“It has never happened kutsi BatfwabeNkhosi bangakubeka kutsi ube yi-Ndvuna yabo ube ngumfana wabo, bakumikise naseMakhosini bese wena ulwa neNkhosikati yabo. His conduct suggests that he can even take the King’s wives to court,” said the source.

Deputy Attorney General Mbuso Simelane who was allegedly approached by the Acting Ludzidzini Governor for the looming court case was also not available for a comment.

Indvuna Themba Ginindza was appointed by Mbekelweni BantfwabeNkhosi led by Prince Phuzigazi, he was then appointed by King Mswati as a member of the various eMabandla after being introduced to the King by Mbekelweni uMphakatsi.
