MBABANE:Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo, the Spokesperson of the Umbutfo Eswatini Defense Force(UEDF) has warned criminals after soldiers apprehended suspects driving in a Honda Fit loaded with alleged stolen goats.
Responding to this Swaziland News on Wednesday evening, the Army Spokesperson said, the soldiers were patrolling around Goboyane when apprehending the suspects.
“Criminality levels at the Kingdom’s boundaries continues to be a challenge. On normal daily patrols the Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force troops at Goboyane area around 14.20 hours identified 2 suspects Gabsile Ntshangase and Bonginkosi Mkhabela both 40 years of age from Siphofaneni area driving a Honda Fit with registration number ISD 543 CM packed with fourteen(14) suspected stolen goats. The suspects as per our norm were handed to the pertinent law enforcement agency,” he said.
The Army Spokesperson said, the UEDF strongly “cautions against such criminality and applauds the soldiers tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that criminality at all the country’s boundaries is curbed”.
