MBABANE:Justice and Constitutional Development Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi has welcomed the confirmation that the accused in the murder of musician Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and Tebello Motsoane, have withdrawn their appeal against extradition from Eswatini to South Africa, SABC reported on Friday evening.
“Kubayi received an update today from the National Directorate of Public Prosecutions confirming receipt of a Notice of Abandonment from Eswatini authorities. The Minister says she is of the view that the withdrawal of Siyabonga Ndimande and Malusi Ndimande’s appeal will bring the extradition process closer to being finalized”, reads the SABC report in part.
