MANZINI:Bheki Mamba, the President of the Trade Union Congress of Swaziland(TUCOSWA) says, the proposed conversion of the Eswatini National Provident Fund(ENPF) into a National Pension Fund will assist workers in the textile, manufacturing, retail and other industries to have a pension.
Addressing a TUCOSWA Workshop on the ENPF convention last week at The George Hotel-Manzini, the President of the eSwatini federation urged leaders of trade unions to approach the issue in the context of TUCOSWA’s long standing principle to ensure that all workers have a better life.
“As a civil servant myself, I have a pension and I know that I will receive my money after reaching the retirement age but, what about those workers in the textile, retail, manufacturing and other industries?”, said the TUCOSWA President.
