MBABANE:Tibiyo TakaNgwane employee Thenjiwe Magagula, a daughter to former National Commissioner Senator Isaac Magagula has been avoiding this journalist for the past week, amid allegations suggesting that her alleged boyfriend Commissioner of Cooperative Russell Nxumalo was poisoned.

An independent investigation conducted by this Swaziland News uncovered that, Thenjiwe Magagula “who specializes in dating married man and/or grabbing other women’s husbands, was with Russell Nxumalo on Saturday(25th October 2025) evening enjoying some drinks, the Commissioner of Cooperative first visited Thenjiwe at Isaac Magagula’s home-Ezulwini and they subsequently went out for drinks”.

A few hours later and in the early hours on Sunday, Russell Nxumalo asked Thenjiwe to rush him to hospital as he was not feeling well and the ex-National Commissioner’s daughter subsequently drove and dumped Russell Nxumalo at Medisun-Ezulwini.

But when this journalist launched this investigation, after contacting some of Thenjiwe Magagula’s friends, the Tibiyo TakaNgwane employee subsequently avoided questions and went as far as privatizing her Facebook account to resctrict access to her pictures, at the time this journalist had already compiled pictures of individuals who were allegedly seen with Russell Nxumalo, a few hours before he died.

The cause of Russell Nxumalo’s death remains unclear but it is alleged that, he was causing a ‘headache’ to a corrupt syndicate looting Cooperatives public monies.

A brief research about Thenjiwe Magagula suggests that, “she is known for owing many people across the country and, as a woman who likes to enjoy an extravagant lifestyle despite facing financial challenges”.

But it remains unclear why Thenjiwe Magagula dumped the Commissioner of Cooperative at Medisun to die instead to assisting him and ensure that “he was taken care-of.

After conducting the preliminary investigation, this publication was left with unanswered questions as Thenjiwe Magagula who was allegedly last seen with Russell Nxumalo avoided questions particularly regarding what the Commissioner of Cooperative could have consumed before taking the last breathe.

Mancoba Khumalo, the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade released a statement, mourning the death of the Commissioner of Cooperative.

It is alleged that, former National Commissioner Isaac Magagula was fully aware of the relationship between his daughter and the Commissioner of Cooperative and that Nxumalo was married but, embraced the relationship.
