MBABANE:Lawyer Sicelo Mngomezulu who represented released Member of Parliament(MP) Mthandeni Dube has applauded Swazi Observer journalist Melisa Msweli for asking a very relevant question that gave Dube an opportunity to clarify that, “he is not a member of the Swaziland Liberation Movement (SWALIMO) or any political organization.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday evening, the lawyer maintained that the Swazi Observer journalist asked a very relevant question.
“The Nation must remember though kutsi what Mthandeni said when interviewed by Meliswa is not new. It’s what we as the legal team, acting on their behalf, communicated from the outset. The 2 MPs were clear even back then that they’re not affiliated to any political formation. The journalist asked a relevant question nonetheless and it’s been answered”, said the lawyer when speaking to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.
Mngomezulu previously told this Swaziland News that the two(2) MPs Mduduzi Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube asked him to communicate a message to Mduduzi Magawugawu Simelane of the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO) directing him to stop using their names when advertising his political party but, Simelane refused to listen and continue using the unfortunate situation of the MPs to promote SWALIMO.
