MBABANE:United States(US) President Donald Trump has labelled newly elected New York city Mayor Zohran Mamdani ‘a communist’, Aljazeera reported this week.
The US President claimed New Yorkers would flee the city as the ‘communist’ takes over the administration of the city.
But in his election victory speech, Mamdani labelled Donald Trump ‘a despot’ who ‘betrayed the United States.
Worth-noting, Donald Trump is a capitalist and the main difference is that capitalism is an economic system where private individuals and companies own and control the means of production, driven by profit and free-market competition. In contrast, communism is a system where the community or government owns and controls the means of production, aiming to create a classless society and distribute resources based on need.
