SICUNUSA: Mandla Mkhaliphi, the former Magistrate whose Farm at Sicunusa was forcefully seized by Prince Sicalo and his armed soldiers has thanked the Nation for the continued support.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, Mkhaliphi said since the matter was reported by this publication, it subsequently became a national issue and more Swazis are symphatising with him and offering words of support.

“It does comfort me that people are now beginning to see the problem because I am not the only one who has been persecuted in this way” ,he said.

Hosea Member of Parliament Mduduzi Bacede Mabuza has been vocal in Parliament demanding that the Ministry of Defense remove the soldiers from Mkhaliphi’s Farm.

The soldiers were allegedly deployed by Prince Sicalo with the intention of seizing the quarry within the Farm for himself, this was after he demanded about E10million from Mandla Mkhaliphi’s company NDI(PTY) LTD saying the money was requested by the King, Queen Mother and his mother Inkhosikati LaMatsebula as tetfulo(gifts). Prince Sicalo, through his company Liyabuya  LemSwati(PTY) LTD was a 15% shareholder at NDI(PTY) LTD specifically for the Sicunusa-Nhlangano Road where Mkhaliphi’s company was supplying quarry, however, he later resigned and made moves to grab the Farm and mine the quarry for himself.
