MPUMALANGA:Rise FM, a Mpumalanga based Radio Station has introduced “Good Morning Mpumalanga” Show focusing on African countries.
Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini was interviewed on Monday morning and he narrated the brief history of the Kingdom of eSwatini and how the country was named “eSwatini”, with citizens known as “emaSwati” after the late King Mswati II who expanded the territory of the Kingdom.
The editor told Rise FM that, the original name of the country is “eSwatini” while Swaziland is the colonial name.
The host or driver of the new “5am to 9am weekdays” show is “Thebigzill Onair” with Zilungile Mnisi doing the news and GTZ covering sports.
The segment called “Inside Africa” seeks to educate listeners about what is happening in African countries including the historical background, politics and, everything that particular country has including minerals, financial institutions, agriculture and sports.
