Army Commander Moses Mashikilisane Fakudze and Principal Secretary Prince Sicalo grace conclusion of Military Courses event, Spokesperson says officers reminded to abide by their oath.

MBABANE:Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo, the Army Spokesperson says the recently concluded Military Courses graced by Commander Mashikilisane Fakudze, Principal Secretary Prince Sicalo and Chief Officer Prince Hlangabeza forms part of the Umbutfo Eswatini Defense Force(UEDF) efforts to capacitate Army officers.

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Wednesday afternoon, the Army Spokesperson described the concluded Military Courses as historic adding that, the courses were concurrently conducted in readiness for the upcoming National Ceremonies.

“The 11th of November 2025 has marked the end of Five (5) Military Career Courses that were concurrently conducted at the  various establishment’s schools in readiness for the upcoming National ceremonies of eSwatini. A historic event indeed in the UEDF that was well attended by amongst other dignitaries Defence Principal Secretary HRH Prince Sicalo and Chief Defence Officer HRH Prince Hlangabeza. Officiating the closure of the lnfantry Basic Officer Leadership Course, Platoon Commander’s Battle Course, Basic Drill and Duties, Vehicle Maintenance Course and Basic Military Police Course, the UEDF Commander General Mashikilisana Hulumende Fakudze congratulated both the Instructors and students for the devotion and dedication on the duration of the courses. He urged them to apply all that has been Instilled in them at their various workstations as so by doing they will gain more experience that will align them with other Armies of the world”, she said.

The Spokesperson said, Army Commander Moses Mashikilisane Fakudze emphasized the importance of equipping oneself adding that “it enables one to be recommended” for future growth in the military.

“The Chief Defence Officer HRH Prince Hlangabeza commended the one hundred and sixty-nine(169) students for their commitment and willingness to learn more on how best to defend and protect eSwatini and it’s National Sovereignty. HRH reminded the participants that prioritizing their country is key and very vital thus they must at all times remember the oath that they took,” said the Army Spokesperson.
