MBABANE:Mlungisi Makhanya, the President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) has called for urgent action against those who travel to other countries and fraudulently use the political organization’s name including forged letters to obtain refugee status.
PUDEMO is an international recognized eSwatini liberation movement and it has been disclosed that, some eSwatini citizens who had never participated in political activities and have been opposing or fighting the political organization, end-up claiming to be comrades or members of PUDEMO when fraudulently applying for refugee status particularly in European countries.
The PUDEMO President who was addressing the National Executive Committee(NEC) meeting last weekend, urged the NEC to take decisive action against those using the name of the political organization for personal benefit and/or to obtain refugee status.
