MBABANE:Prince Guduza, the Chairman of the Mines and Minerals Board in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy, sent insulting messages to Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on Thursday morning.

This was shortly after this Swaziland News published a highly investigative story earlier in the morning, exposing how the Mines and Minerals Board Chairman colluded with Mswati’s son Prince Lindani and others to smuggle a multibillion Green Chert mineral to the Mainland China.

The mineral was ‘ looted’ from a country where about 70% of the population lives below the poverty line but the Kingdom has gold, coal, Iron Ore and Green Chert Mines among others.

On another note, the editor urged Prince Guduza to relax and allow him to do his job as a journalist which includes holding those in power accountable and, demanding transparency and accountability in the public administration.

“I sent him a questionnaire seeking his side of the story and he decided to insult me. Unfortunately, I don’t have time for insults, I’m currently busy investigating the amount of money Guduza and others received in their personal capacity to smuggle the State mineral resources to China,” said the editor.

Eswatini is facing shortage of drugs in public hospitals and other social challenges, minerals and other State resources are being looted by King Mswati, royal family members and others close to the Monarch.
