United Nations(UN), eSwatini Government sign Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework(UNSDCF) 2026–2030, Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini expresses Kingdom’s commitment to advancing inclusive and sustainable development.

MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has expressed the Kingdom’s commitment to advancing inclusive and sustainable development.

The PM was speaking at the UN House-Mbabane on Thursday during the signing of the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework(UNSDCF), 2026-2030.

“As a Nation, we have set for ourselves a bold ambition to transition into an upper-middle-income country driven by inclusive, sustainable, and resilient growth. This Cooperation Framework is not just a plan; it is a promise, a promise to transform our country in ways that uplift every family, every community, and every liSwati.To realise the 2030 Agenda, we must accelerate SDG implementation through targeted investments; scale up financing in high-impact sectors; strengthen governance, accountability, and institutional delivery systems; enhance partnerships in the true spirit of Nkwe, and ensure that no one is left behind, especially vulnerable groups,” said the PM as quoted by Government online platforms.

On another note, the PM said, the integration of the National Grand Plan for National Transformation pathways into the Cooperation Framework ensures that the country’s efforts are strategic, coherent, and guided by evidence-based priorities. 

“But ambition alone is not enough. We must match it with commitment, dedication, and results-driven implementation,” he said.
