MBABANE:Senate President Lindiwe Gwebu-Dlamini has ordered the State Intelligence to investigate King’s appointed Senator Stuky Motsa for taking pictures with Velaphi Mamba, the Treasurer General of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO).
This comes after Mamba addressed the Pan African Parliament and communicated the plight of emaSwati under the King’s Tinkhundla cruel and undemocratic regime.
“She asked us to investigate if Senator Stukie Motsa is still linked to PUDEMO, she wants to advise the King to dismiss her. But we don’t understand because that was a political forum,” said a State Intelligence source.
It has been disclosed that, the Senate President who fights other politicians who are not linked to her Jesus Calls Worship Centre(JCWC) syndicate, was expecting Senator Stukie Motsa to ‘grab’ the microphone or interrupt Mamba when criticizing the Tinkhundla regime.
Mamba, a highly regarded human rights defender and PUDEMO leader told the Pan African Parliament last week that, a coup might take place in eSwatini in the absence of a political dialogue and democratic reforms.
Senate President Lindiwe Dlamini’s cellphone rang unanswered when this publication tried to reach her for a comment.
It has been disclosed that, after the Pan African Parliament Session, the Senate President questioned the appointed Senator demanding to know why she took pictures with the PUDEMO leader, she wants the King to dismiss Senator Motsa by branding her a PUDEMO member.
On another note, the State Intelligence source told this publication that, he doubts the King was even bothered by the tension that subsequently erupted in Parliament after Velaphi Mamba’s Pan African Parliament submissions and the subsequent taking of pictures.
“The King has been in power for close to forty(40) years and many people normally come to him to speak bad things about other emaSwati particularly amid fights for political positions. But before, it was easy to destroy others by mentioning PUDEMO. Even us as his intelligence officers, he sometimes questions our information.
