MBABANE:Justice and Constitutional Affairs Minister Prince Simelane has allegedly dumped released former pro-democracy Member of Parliament(MP) Mthandeni Dube.
The Prince allegedly shared some information to other royal family members telling them how he received a call from Dube who asked to attend Incwala and dance next to him, the call was subsequently verified by this publication and confirmed to have taken place on Wednesday(19th November 2025).
But according to information shared to this Swaziland News, the Justice Minister told Dube that, he must consult his uMphakatsi and attend Incwala with other emaSwati not to call him.
“You must consult your uMphakatsi and attend with other emaSwati not with me, you cannot be next to me during Incwala, bengenta lokuse-Bhayibhelini nangikucelela lucolo eNkhosini hhayi kutsi ngingumngani wakho”.,” the Prince allegedly told the released ex-MP.
Worth-noting, Justice Minister Prince Simelane is the same royal family member who was used to trick Dube into apologizing to the Monarch before his release and this, was after the eSwatini Government allegedly received information suggesting that, the United Nations Human Rights Council(UNHRC) Working Group will release a ‘ruling’ directing the eSwatini Government to release Dube together with ex-MP Mduduzi Bacede Mabuza.
Efforts to reach Prince Simelane proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report while ex-MP Mthandeni Dube was banned by the Correctional Services from addressing the media.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News, Wandile Dludlu, the Deputy President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) reminded ex-MP Mthandeni Dube that, the Tinkhundla regime and the Monarchy “will always be vindictive” when dealing with those who previously opposed it.
“Mthandeni Dube must know that Tinkhundla never forgives, releasing him was a political game and he must never think he is now closer to the regime or the Monarchy,” said the PUDEMO Deputy President.
