MBABANE:Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Thulisile Dladla travelled to Ethiopia on Monday to in the Ministerial Session of the Africa Pre-Commission on the Status of Women 70 Consultation (Pre-CSW70), Government online platforms reported.

“This high-level meeting will focus on promoting Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment across Africa, sharing progress made, challenges encountered, and gaps identified by member states and forge a strategic collective approaches to advance women’s rights and opportunities.The Pre-CSW70 session will also deliberate and finalize Africa’s common position in preparation for the 70th Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70), scheduled to take place from 9–20 March 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York,” reads the online report in part.
