MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini is now earning about two hundred thousand Rands(R200,000.00) per-month including allowances after the recent salary review.
The PM’s basic salary is one hundred and thirty-nine thousand, nine hundred and seventy-three Rands, seventy-one cents(R139,973.71), he is also entitled to various allowances that accumulate his ‘salary’ to about R200,000.00.
Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg recently announced and implemented a salary review for civil servants, politicians benefited.
Efforts to reach Acting Government Spokesperson Thabile Mdluli proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report as her cellphone rang unanswered.
On another note, Cabinet Ministers are now earning about one hundred and fifty thousand Rands(R150,000.00) including allowances while the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) is earning around one hundred and eighty thousand Rands(R180,000.00) including allowances.
