MBABANE:King Mswati’s long serving Praise Singer Senator Qethuka Sigombeni Dlamini is sick, reportedly bedridden and unable to attend Parliament sittings.
Senate President Lindiwe Gwebu-Dlamini had not responded at the time of compiling this report, she was asked to confirm the health condition of the Senator.
But Parliament sources told this publication that, Senator Dlamini has been away for over one and a half month now while royal insiders confirmed that “he is sick and bedridden”.
Qethuka Sigombeni Dlamini is the King’s long-serving Praise Singer and was subsequently appointed by the King to serve him as a Senator.
The nature of Senator Dlamini’s illness is known to this Swaziland News but, cannot be disclosed without his permission as journalists are ethically not allowed to publish such illness unless, there’s a situation that justifies or permits the journalist to do so acting in the public interest.
