MBABANE:Madala Mhlanga,the Deputy Speaker and Mhlangatane Member of Parliament(MP) says, “his entertainment allowance is used to assist residents of his Constituency particularly, the Community Police and Bagcugcuteli serving the Nation and his Constituency as volunteers”.
Speaking to this Swaziland News this week, the Deputy Speaker said he normally donate food annually to these volunteers just to appreciate them, the Mahlangatane MP donated food hampers last Friday.
“I saw the gap in the sacrifices that these people are making in serving my Constituency and the country in it's entirety and without much recognition hence I decided to host them annually just before Christmas to also share with them that as MPs, we are and will forever advocate for their welfare and encourage them to continue rendering their volunteering work to the community. There are about 170 Bagcugcuteli including the retired ones and around 150 Community Police”, said the MP.
