MBONDZELA:Prince Lonkhokhela, the Minister of Natural Resources and Energy kept his earlier promise of offering new houses to Mbondzela residents whose homes were demolished by a Farm owner.
The Natural Resources Minister handed over the new houses to the affected residents on Thursday after the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) organized a series of protests, demanding justice for the Mbondzela residents.
PUDEMO Executive members that include Penuel Secretary General Malinga and National Organizing Secretary Siboniso Mkhabela made regular visits to Mbondzela, demanding justice for the residents, the Eswatini main liberation movement amplified the plight of the residents locally and internationally.
As a result, the Natural Resources Minister managed to convince the Farm owner to build the new houses for the residents whose homes were unlawfully demolished over a year ago.
