MBABANE:Khangeziwe Mabuza, the newly appointed and seconded Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Sincemphetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund(SMVAF) says, she will receive guidance from the staff as well as the Governing Board before developing a strategy that seeks to improve the delivery of services to the public.
Responding to Swaziland News when asked to briefly share her development strategy, the CEO said she will meet the staff next week to gather their views regarding ongoing and/or existing strategies.
“I cannot just impose my own strategy before engaging the staff and the Governing Board because I am new and the employees know the operations of MVA better me. So next week I will meet the staff and after gathering the views from the employees, I will develop the strategy for next year and discuss with them if it aligns with existing strategies for MVA. When you lead people, you don’t just come and tell them what needs to be done without engaging them first because you may find that, they know better than you,” said the newly appointed SMVAF CEO.
Khangeziwe Mabuza is the Principal Secretary(PS) in the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, she has been seconded by Cabinet through Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg to work as the SMVAF CEO for twelve(12) months pending the appointment of a permanent Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment of the PS as a seconded MVA Chief Executive Officer comes after the resignation of CEO David Myeni.
