Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini says Police Service Regulations of 2025 to enhance professionalism within the law enforcement agency.

MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini says, the proposed Police Service Regulations of 2025 will enhance professionalism within the law enforcement agency.
Speaking during a Workshop for Senators at the Sibane Hotel on Monday, the PM expressed Government’s firm commitment to strengthening the legal and regulatory framework governing the Royal Eswatini Police Service. 
“The role of the Police Service in upholding the law, preserving peace and ensuring the safety of all emaSwati cannot be overemphasised. A disciplined, well-regulated and supported Police Service is essential in building public trust and maintaining stability in our country. These Regulations are meant to empower and capacitate our Police officers so that they may execute their duties with professionalism, integrity and confidence, as we intensify our fight against crime and social disorder,” said the PM as quoted by Government online platforms.
The PM applauded the spirit of unity demonstrated by the House of Senate adding that, the Kingdom will go very far if all the Houses of Parliament could work together for the collective good of the Nation.
