NKOMAZI:Eswatini flooding rivers are fast becoming “rivers of death” amid climate change, twenty-three(23) year old Maxwell Gwebu disappeared while crossing the Nkomazi River this week and the search for his body has began.
Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Eswatini Police Spokesperson was not immediately available for a comment regarding the drowning incident at Nkomazi River.
But it has been reported that, the disappearance of Gwebu occurred just seventy-two (72) hours after a Mozambican national drowned in the same river on Friday, search and rescue teams are currently hard at work at Nkomazi River.
