Maloma Mine Management to meet trade union over workers terminal benefits.

MALOMA: Maloma Mine Management will meet with the Amalgamated Trade Union of Swaziland(ATUSWA) to discuss the issues surrounding the payment of workers terminal benefits.

This comes after this Swaziland News reported that King Mswati sold the Mine to Inyatsi boss Michello Shakantu and workers were struggling to receive their terminal benefits as per labour laws.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, Warnder Mkhonza, the ATUSWA Secretary confirmed that a meeting will be held tomorrow to discuss the issues surrounding the payment of monies due to workers.

“I can confirm that tomorrow(Wednesday), we will attend a meeting with the Management to discuss the issues surrounding the payment of monies due to the workers, we will then share an update regarding the outcomes of the meeting” said the ATUSWA Secretary General.
