Lawyers are experts in law but some of them know nothing about the court of public opinion and as a result and perhaps unaware, some of them sometimes throw their clients who are public figures under the bus by filing useless urgent court applications.

Indeed, there’s a case that might look winnable in the courts but dismissed in the court of public opinion, the Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence (SODOV) Act is a very sensitive law that regulates sexual conduct.

It is worth mentioning that, sex by its nature, is emotional but rape is a painful experience that physically and emotionally destroys women and children.

We have daughters and we want to see them grow and penetrated either by their husbands or boyfriends of their choice, no parent wish to see his/her child crying and bleeding after being raped by an old man.

Without disregarding the principles of the presumsion of innocence until proven, an old man like Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo cannot just approach the courts systematically seeking authority or permission to rape our children by challenging a law that regulates sexual conduct and domestic violence.

I am forty-two(42) years old now and can no-longer look young girls who are below eighteen (18) years and then say “sebavutsiwe”, these are my children and as an adult, I must motivate them to prioritize education not to have sex with them.

Alpheous Nxumalo is over sixty(60) years and possibly slept with various women, maybe he was once treated for sexually transmitted diseases, anything is possible in the journey of life.

It’s only a heartless man who takes advantage of young girls and insert his tired and ‘long-serving’ penis inside their pure vaginas, Alpheous Nxumalo took this criminal case lightly without understanding that, it’s not about the victims and their parents but the entire country. 

The Domestic Violence and Sexual Offenses Act is one of the best laws we have in this country, even women who abuse men and young boys are now arrested under the above mentioned law.

Under this law, our children, both boys and girls are protected and therefore, we don’t want to see any lunatic challenging Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence Act with an alleged intention to rape children with impunity.
