MBABANE:Phila Buthelezi, the Minister of Labour and Social Security has appointed Mashumi Shongwe as a Member of the Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration Commission (CMAC) Board of Directors.
Shongwe is out on bail for allegedly killing his wife Tigezile Shongwe, the murder suspect will now govern a ‘Small Court’ for workers and employers while having unresolved issues with the law.
Eswatini Government through the Civil Service Commission (CSC) went on to re-appoint Apheous Nxumalo as the Government Spokesperson, Nxumalo is also out on bail for allegedly raping children.
Women rights organizations including the Eswatini Action Group Against Abuse (SWAGAA) and One Billion Rising condemned the appointment of the suspected criminals.
