MBABANE:Samson Sithole, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Eswatini Water and Agricultural Development Enterprise (EWADE) signed, on behalf of the State owned agricultural entity, a Memorandum of Understanding with the Eswatini Environmental Authority (EEA), the National Maize Corporation and other stakeholders.
The MoU seeks to change the lives of emaSwati by enhancing agricultural production in the country through the Smallholder Agriculture Productivity Enhancement and Marketing Project (SAPEMP), other stakeholders include the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs and the Ministry of Tinkhundla Administration and Development.
“This MoU moves our corporation from good intention to structured action,” said the EWADE Chief Executive Officer during the signing ceremony at the Hilton Hotel on Tuesday.
