MBABANE:Judge Abande Dlamini of the Industrial Court ruled that, the dispute between Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo and Government must proceed after both parties failed to reach an agreement regarding outstanding salaries.

This comes after lawyers from the Attorney General’s Office representing Government told the court on Tuesday this week that, “the State is not willing to pay Alpheous Nxumalo as he did not render services in terms of the contract”.

Alpheous Nxumalo whose contract was renewed by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) was subsequently rejected by Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini on the basis that, he cannot be a Spokesperson while facing child rape criminal charges.
