MBABANE:Chief Mgwagwa Gamedze, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the King’s Office, Protocol Officer Prince Mphiwa and other Monarch’s servants allegedly cashed over R50million bribes using King Mswati’s name in the last twelve (12) months.
The money was allegedly cashed from investors who were seeking to meet King Mswati to discuss investment projects but, tricked into believing that, the millions will be presented to the King as “tetfulo” in terms of Eswatini culture.
Evidence obtained by this Swaziland News suggests that, some of the investors wanted to invest billions in the country and create jobs but, Gamedze, the Protocol Officers and others next to Mswati took advantage and demanded the millions.
Others who allegedly pocked the millions in the name of the King include Mines and Minerals Prince Guduza, King’s Interpreter Sihle Dlamini, Prince Lindani and Prince Baya.
But Prince Lindani was recently exposed by this publication for allegedly receiving three (3) Bentley cars worth over R15million and a Petex Philippe watch worth over R5million from Chinese investors seeking to invest in mining.
An attempt was made to contact King’s Office Chief Executive Officer Chief Mgwagwa Gamedze, however, his cellphone rang unanswered.
On another note, the investors who confirmed to this Swaziland News and shared their frustrations, said “the King is surrounded by the most corrupt servants who use his and to cash millions”.
The investors further shared evidence that cannot be disclosed for now pending further investigations but, the amount so far uncovered by this publication to have been pocked by the King’s trusted servants, amounts to over R50million.
